Workshop Description
Join 319 Photography for an extraordinary Milky Way photography workshop in the breathtaking landscapes of Moab, Utah! This hands-on experience is perfect for all skill levels, from beginners eager to explore the basics of night sky photography to advanced photographers looking to refine their techniques. With expert guidance and instruction, participants will learn essential skills for capturing the stunning details of the Milky Way, from planning shots, mastering settings and composition, all the way through final post processing! Set against Moab’s iconic red rock formations, the workshop blends technical in-field instruction and in-depth classroom instruction with the opportunity to capture unique, awe-inspiring images of the night sky. The small group size allows for personalized instruction, ensuring each participant gains the skills needed to take their night photography to the next level. Please note, this workshop will focus on "early season" Milky Way panorama images. As such we will have split in-field sessions as the Milky Way is not visible until just after 2:00 AM each night. This is the BEST time of the year to capture Milky Way panoramas! Workshop tuition includes all meals, transportation during the workshop, four nights of lodging, park fees, classroom materials, time and talent of three professional photography instructors! Workshop tuition does not cover meals outside of those provided, alcohol, travel to/from host hotel, travel/trip insurance. Total Tuition - $3100.00 Deposit - $500.00 A non-refundable deposit of $500 is due at booking to secure your slot in this workshop. Initial Deposit Transactions are completed online via the 319 Photography booking system. Payment methods for initial deposits include all Major Credit Cards or PayPal. Transactions are secure transactions. If you would prefer to fulfill your initial deposit in an alternate manner (check, Venmo, CashApp, etc), please email tony@319photography.com to arrange this. Final tuition payments are required by February 1, 2026. Final Tuition Invoices will be sent out approximately one mont prior to Final tuition payment due date. Checks are preferred for Final Tuition payment fulfillment. Final tuition payments made via an electronic method (Credit/Debit Card, PayPal, Venmo, CashApp, etc.) will incur a 3% electronic payment fee.

Initial Workshop deposits are non-refundable and guarantee your slot in the workshop. 319 Photography's cancellation policy is as follows: 121 Days Prior to first day of the workshop - Full Refund, Less Non-Refundable Deposit 120-91 days Prior to first day of the workshop - 75% Refund, Less Non-Refundable Deposit. 90-61 days prior to first day of the workshop - 50% Refund, Less Non-Refundable Deposit. 60-0 days prior to first day of the workshop - Not eligible for Refund *UNLESS* your spot can be filled by another person. If your spot can be filled, you will receive a refund of all monies paid, including the initial deposit. If you spot is not filled, you will not be eligible for a refund.
