Workshop Description
Join 319 Photography for an exclusive 14-day / 13-night photographic adventure through the world’s oldest desert, designed for photographers who want it all: epic landscapes, surreal desert formations, wildlife, and some of the darkest night skies on Earth. From dunes to deserts, coastlines to game parks, this UNIQUE / Workshop leaves nothing on the table. From your arrival in Windhoek on August 24, 2027, every location, transfer, and shooting window has been intentionally selected for optimal light and access, supported by your 319 Photography instructors alongside local photography guides and experienced local drivers. We begin with acclimation nights in the capital before heading deep into Namibia’s visual heart - photographing ancient quiver trees glowing at dawn, abstract dune patterns in the vast NamibRand (an exclusive access experience), and legendary night skies that feel endless. A highlight of the journey is Sossusvlei and Dead Vlei, where staying inside the national park allows early access to towering red dunes and centuries-old camel thorn trees before the crowds arrive. From there, the adventure shifts to the Atlantic coast in Swakopmund, blending desert and ocean with a unique Living Desert experience focused on intimate macro and detail photography. The final chapters take us into rugged Damaraland - home to desert-adapted elephants, ancient rock art, and unforgettable stargazing - before concluding in Etosha National Park, where nights are spent photographing wildlife gathering at the iconic floodlit waterhole of Okaukuejo. This is a comprehensive, immersive, and intentionally small-group expedition built to challenge, inspire, and reward photographers who want far more than a checkbox trip. Please Note - This is a Non-Refundable Workshop This workshop is designated as non-refundable, meaning that 319's standard cancellation terms do not apply and no refunds of any payments will be issued under any circumstances; however, all of our other terms and conditions apply. For this workshop, any any others deemed as non-refundable, we strongly recommend comprehensive trip insurance. These workshops will always be clearly identified in their online description with the notice: “Payments for this workshop are non-refundable under any circumstances; our other Terms and Conditions apply.” REFUND ELIGIBILITY ONLY IF your spot can be filled by another person. If your spot can be filled, you will receive a refund of all monies paid, including the initial deposit. If your spot is not filled, you will not be eligible for a refund of any kind. Note: If you attend a workshop with us and have to leave early, for any and all reasons, you will not be eligible for a refund. For this workshop, travel insurance that includes medical, trip cancellation, and evacuation is mandatory.
