WHAT IS THE ACTIVITY LEVEL LIKE?
For our Lofoten Islands, Norway UNIQUE / Workshop, many of our shooting locations will not require hiking of note, however students should be prepared to hike/walk a distance of 1/2 to 3/4 mile (round trip). Terrains we will cover include flat, relatively even terrain, rocky areas, sandy beaches, and potentially muddy, snowy, and/or icy areas.
Additionally, there are some considerations for our students regarding the physical requirements of our workshops and in-field shooting sessions. Students should be able to:
-
Walk unassisted over uneven terrain while carrying their camera equipment
-
Traverse and manage terrain that includes uneven rocks, loose sand/gravel, mud, snow, ice, and level changes
-
Stand or be on their feet for several hours
-
Successfully maneuver and negotiate walking at night by flashlight in rocky, sandy, snowy, or muddy environment
If you have specific questions about the physical aspects of our workshops, contact Tony via email at tony@319photography.com
